I want to install a new VMLite XP Mode machine these days. Up to now, I have been working with 3.2.6 release. Please let me know if there are any chances to get a final release of version 4.x in a next month or two, either shall I rather use the beta 4.2 version?

we are waiting for virtualbox 4.2 release, no release data is set yet.

You can safely use the current beta version, which is actually very stable.

Just don't use Seamless Mode or Seamless Taskbar Mode because I have big problems with it.

When you use Seamless Taskbar Mode end the XP Mode VM in the workstation menu. then re-run it and you will see the bar at the top with the options is gone.
