There is no off topic section, so I decided to put this in the board I originally started moderating in.
I know that a lot of the new members have no clue who I am. I no longer post often, as my last post was in July 2011 and the post before that was in April 2010. Over the last two years, I've made a grand total of two posts. Just a little introduction, I discovered VMLite back in November of 2009, when VMLite was a closed BETA and when I was searching for an alternate to Windows XP Mode, because my processor was not VT-X supported. I discovered VMLite while looking on Google and immediately got interested, and emailed Hui about being part of the closed BETA program.
VMLite eventually expanded into more products and eventually, a forum started, the very forum you're reading right now. I wanted to help others with issues with the program, in order to help Hui and take some burden off of him, and he eventually promoted me to moderator. However, for the past year I've grown incredibly busy, posts and visits became rarer and rarer as I have had to deal with issues in my personal life. I still followed the VMLite development progress but have not been able to contribute. I'm sorry that I haven't been able to contribute much over the past year. Daily visits became visits once per month, then once every few months then became the point where I could only visit when I had the time. The 10 year, $1.5 million dollar contract I signed years ago is set to expire soon and in order to receive a new contract, I've had to put my work above everything. In this tough financial time, the last thing me and my family can afford is for me to not receive a new contract and have to find work for another company. My mom and dad are both retired and I have one younger brother in college and another who has his own family already.
I make myself responsible for supporting my family because I have the highest average salary of all my siblings, and it devastating if I was cut and had no job. Therefore, due to the lack of time, I can no longer hold my position as moderator on this forum. I hope Hui and your team have good luck down the road, I hope all the new moderators have good luck. I will still make visits, but rarely.
Thank you for your time. Thank you Hui and your development team for the amazing product you made and thank you to this community for embracing me and being so kind to me
