Hi,
maybe the first not "need key" thread here

If I understand it correctly, rDisplay is running on the BananaPi-Android (Host),
and the rPlay is running on the Windows,Android (client) side.

If I play on my Host a HD Video, and want to share it to my client,
which resolution, how many fps, and which latency I will get?

Did any one test this case already?

Thanks

Yes, indeed, too many license key threads. Our forum has downgraded to a non-tech one

Yes, your understanding is correct too. You send display (and system audio) from Banana Pi to Windows. Android 4.4 must be used to gain the fast performance. fps can be above 20fps, very smooth for video playing.

Latency is around 100 msec.

We will release rDisplay (now called YouMap) soon to google play.

Thanks for answering this question.
Very interesting.

Is the YouMap using the HW-Encoder to compress the stream to h264?
Has the YouMap also the possibility to "edit" the parameter for the encoding?
What I mean is, I didn't need a Audio, and want to have maybe a higher bitrate, for example.

Which transmission protocol is your "platform" using?

I have a network stream, I can decode this stream to a raw mjpeg's.
Ok, now I can play this stream on Android. If I now start
the YouMap, it should be possible to get this stream to the client.

But, would it be also possible, to "feed" the YouMap, with some "videoo stuff" directly?
For exmaple, using a service, for receiving "my" stream, and push it, "how ever" into YouMap?

Thanks

Maybe, I need to ask for a lic-key also
