the default color depth with html5 seems to be true colour / 24bit .
Is there a way to include a 8 bit switch in the URL?
I tried with &depth=8 , but it doesn't change the color mode. true_color=0 gives me the following error. Is there any way around this? True color mode is just too slow for a rather slow internet connection and I have problems with using the java mode.
Tight protocol handler only implements true color mode
Thanks.

I had some trouble using Remmina on Linux to connect to VMlite VNC. At first it did connect, but then it immediately disconnected. So I tried html5 and Java.

Now I discovered that I can also use RealVNC on Linux (Ubunutu). That seems to work fine (also with 8 bit color mode) and I will use that as a workaround.
