No flash drive. real HDD Disk, I have tested the vboot-v2.zip
the version off grub4dos that is in use build 1.97 beta 4. Do not now how to read exFAT partition/fil system first step will be to compile an use a newer version off grub4dos that will read exFAT.
when I boot grub4dos and do C and ls it say
hd0, (hd0,1) (hd0,2) (hd0,3) and unknown file system on the exFAT partition.
I made the win7.vhd and winxp.vhd fine from XP on the exFAT file system but grub4dos don't now how to read the exFAT sow this is first fix that is need.
I will test FAT32 size=32G
can I split the files in 2GB is this supported ? as max size is 3.99GB on FAT32 and how ?
vmware files did't work
win7.vmdk
win7-s001.vmdk
win7-s008.vmdk

can you compile a new version off grub4dos the new one support exFAT. Long plan is to make exFAT file system om mac os x lion then make a vhd file format as NTFS and then install windows 7 to it shod be faster to having the vhd file on exFAT BUT FORMAT as NTFS inside the vhd file

have tested windows 8 bootmgr. bootmgr is on exFAT and it boot fine I have adde xp boot loader ntldr
sow I Can get back to the grub4dos boot loader
when I Try to boot a vhd on NTFS I BOOT but the version off windows7 I use is
home premium and I get and error saying that booting from vhd is not supported in this version
as it looks that it try to use the microsoft native vhd and not vboot vhd
anyone now how to use bcdedit to make this work to make the vhd look like vboot vhd
and not microsoft vhd
booting vhd on exFAT DID NOT WORK
sow I still need a update off grub4dos to may get this to work

Windows7.VHD can be stored on any(?) partition. but host partition FS should be NTFS
