License Question 1 Year, 1 Month ago Karma: 0
I've got some last questions before buying the product.

1.) Can i use vboot on more than one machine (not at the same time) if i buy the single computer license? I'll buy it for my personal use. My company does not sponsor it. So, can i use it on my personal notebook and on my normal computer. How does the restriction work? Do i need to have an inet connection?

2.) What about upgrades? Is there a big update in the queue that we will get for free. If not, should i wait for a new version? Or is there no big update planned for the next few month?

Cheers,

1) you can use the vboot on any computers as long as you don't run them at the same time. So you can install vboot on multiple computers, but run it one at a time.

2) We provide free major upgrades for 1st year of purchase. After one year, we may still provide free updates, but this is not guaranteed.

One last question. I use it now on two machines (not at the same time). I've been working on one machine while and alongside i was installing a second machine with vboot to prepare it for work. On the second one there occured strange errors while installing (damaged windows update one time, total system halt onother time, and so on). After shutting down the first computer the installation process on the other worked fine. Does the driver check the presence of another instance running on the network and stop the vhd driver or was this just an unfortunate coincidence?
