I just installed PC Anywhere, and it at least installed well inside xpm vm.

what was your error messages? I am not familar with PCA, I assume that it requires another installation on a second pc? so one PCW can connect to another.

PCA=PC Anywhere. No error message. I must tried 10 times. Sometimes right after a reboot. I tried to install from CD, or using ISO within xpvm. They all act the same. I also tried it in my laptop Lenovo T61. It act exactly the same. The copy of PCA I have is the same one I used for 1 of my office 1 year ago (and, I installed it under Window XP Pro 2002 fine!).

I downloaded the latest trial version from Symantec website, and it installs well.

If you failed to install your version of PC Anywhere on your XP Laptop, then the problem must have something to do with that CD, rather than the xp mode vm.
