I'd like to get some ideas on whether or not you like the idea of booting your physical computer using an XP VHD file.

Basically, you can create an VHD file from an XP CD, and copy this file to a computer, and you can boot the computer using this VHD file to have Windows XP running directly on your computer. All changes will be saved to the VHD file.

It might be possible to use the same VHD file as your XPM virtual machine. We are still exploring this.

Any thoughts?

certainly , do you think about a boot-menu where I can select from with VM-HD I would like to boot, or into my normal physical PC? And all this integrated into C:\boot\BCD ?

Shure, you know me a little ...

Must it be a XP-VM or can it be e.g. a SEVEN-VM-HD ???

You must have very much free time (currently).

Great - than VML-WS with XMP already is bug-free and runs on all WIN-OS from 2000 to 2008 R2 ???

Yes, you can select boot menu as which VHD to boot. The VHD can contain XP, Vista, Windows 7, or even Linux in it. The OS inside the VHD will be the main operating system your physical computer runs.

We have a team, and I spend most of the time on this forum.

The bugs you reported are being reproduced and fixed. Thanks for testing for us.

You have the latest version, not pre-release. I meant that we are fixing the bugs you found, for example, the one on 2008 server R2.
