Had VMLite XP Mode displaying a host shared folder. Was able to use in normal manner. But, after reboot host machine am unable to connect to that shared folder.

Attached is error message I get.

Suggestions about how to fix it will be greatly appreciated!

you need to map to \\.host\sfs from XP Mode vm if VMLite Guest Additions is used

you need to literally enter "\\.host\sfs"

your shared folders will appear as subdir

Really appreciate your help. But, I'm obvioulsy missing something. Still unable to connect.

I which window (dialog) am I to type "\\.hostsfs"? I've tried it in the "Map Network Drive" dialog. Haven't found anyplace else to try.

Very frustrating for someone that has mapped drives for years.
