Well, any idea how I can install those guestadditions without having to enter password that I don't know (before and after reboot) ? Or any idea to install them any other way ?

MyOlpPc is really great but without access to the drives it is very limited...

Thanks for your help !

we will fix this issue next release of VMLite Workstation.

The username is your login name for the vm, and the password is empty if you don't have one.

When the security dialog appear, you can simply click Cancel, and the vm should continue to boot.

In other words, you should be able to use shared folders.

Ok it works fine now ! I wasn't remembering my password so I changed it in the XP accout options.

Saved a Snapshot and will not touch it, afraid to do a mistake !

Thanks again !!!

Well it's me again !

I tried to launch MyOldPc snapshot that was working yesterday (the new one with the drives ok) and I got this error message :

I think the only thing I did was deleting the (previous) older snapshot (but I tried yesterday after deleting it and it worked fine...)

And after all worked fine, I did a copy on another drive of the 5.05 GB VMLites folder to another external drive just to be sure....but restoring the folder this morning give me the same error message....

And I cannot boot xp the normal way because it tell me that my copy need to be registered and I have a problem (white window and script error when opening the registration options) but this is a problem I had with my real XP PC and has nothing to do with VMLite.

And that's why I save a snapshot because with it I always have 3 days for registration..(that I can not do even if I have the right reg key)

Or maybe there is a way to repair XP under VMLite so that the registration window will appear correctly ? But the easiest was would be that I can launch my saved snapshot of course !

Thanks for your help again !
