yes, it seems there is a bug, sometimes mouse moves inside 800x600, instead of 1024x768. If this occurs, you can go to Machine menu, and disable mouse integration. After a few reboots, mouse should work ok, and you can enable mouse integration.
When mouse integration is disabled, you need to press the right Control key to release it.

neway can the hot key be changed to a simple mouse click?
and can i download apps directly from googleplay market

Yeah, this is what I do when it doesn't work. Just restart it a couple of times, and eventually it works again.
BTW, this happens even on different resolutions. I run mine in 480x800 and sometimes the mouse wont go past the bottom fifth of the screen.

once mouse captured, you will have to use hotkey to release. We will try to fix this bug asap.
As for market, you can try to install gapps using adb. It seems there are problems adding google account. You can always test yourself.

That's great.
FYI, you can configure the vm to be fullscreen too. You need to change the screen resolution to be same as your host full screen resolution, then also need to add custom resolution to virtualbox.
